When you checked the settings, did you actually look at the wireless settings page itself, or just the main dashboard? The 2.4GHz band can be disabled independently from 5GHz in the ASUS interface - go into your router's admin panel and navigate to Wireless > General, then make sure the "Enable Wireless" option is turned on for the 2.4GHz band specifically (it's separate from the 5GHz toggle). Also check if there's a physical WiFi button on your router or a keyboard shortcut that might've accidentally turned it off! If the settings show it's enabled but it's still not broadcasting, try doing a full factory reset rather than just a restart - sometimes the config file gets corrupted and a soft reboot won't fix it, but a full reset usually does the trick.
