three months is still way too early to really tell the difference. the infatuation at the beginning is biochemical - your brain releases stuff that makes you blind. whether there's something real behind it you only notice later, when that high wears off. and that happens to most people after a while, no idea if it's after half a year or a year, depends on a lot of factors.
you recognize real love more by how you treat each other when the butterflies fade. if you like this person even when they're sick, when they've had a shit week, when they show a side you don't like. whether you're willing to be there for them without it feeling like a sacrifice. with infatuation you mainly focus on the positive and ignore problems - with real love you see someone realistically and like them anyway.
my tip: chill out and just let it grow. don't try to figure out right now whether it's love or not, it's too early for that and your judgment will be skewed anyway. instead look at how you two function together when everyday stuff comes up, when it's not just fun and deep conversations. then you'll naturally notice whether there's substance to it or not.
