We've been friends for like 15 years, we've known each other since high school. She got engaged recently and I already saw on Instagram that she's sending invitations to other people I know. I don't understand why she hasn't said anything to me. Should I ask her directly or wait for her to tell me?
Damn, that does hurt. But before you assume the worst, there are a few possibilities: maybe she's sending invitations in batches and yours hasn't arrived yet, or maybe she's got a budget limit and is prioritizing close family. What I'd do is ask her, but casually, not accusingly - something like "hey, I saw you're sending invitations, did mine get lost or haven't you sent it yet?" that way you avoid unnecessary drama and get your answer straight.
